2020 Jean Morice Rosé
This dry and savoury style of Rosé has been made from 100% Gamay sourced from one of our younger blocks of Gamay. Gently whole bunch pressed, this wine was naturally fermented in old oak without any additions, including no sulfur and has gone through full malolactic fermentation.
Pale salmon in colour, achieved naturally after gentle pressing on skins, this Rosé has a pretty perfumed nose of strawberries and cream, Turkish delight and red currants. A creamy mouthfeel, with delicate red fruits, hints of cranberry, chalky minerality, and a refreshing grapefruit like acidity. It’s fresh, enjoyable, designed for pure drinkability and the perfect wine on a hot summer’s day.
