2017 Home Vineyard Pinot Noir
Estate grown from 23-year-old vines, naturally fermented, 100% whole berries, for 3 weeks. After pressing, it is matured in French oak barriques for 12 months, one third new, prior to bottling in October 2018, unfined and unfiltered.
A complex bouquet of intense red fruits, damson plum, mineral and wild herbs. The palate is sweet and savoury, showing raspberry, plum, iron, with hints of herbs, nutmeg and anise. A long persistent finish.

2017 La Clairiére Pinot Noir
Sourced from our newest high-density block planted to 7 clones of Pinot Noir planted on ironstone-rich, silty duplex soils. Natural fermentation, 100% whole berry and matured in French oak barriques for 18 months prior to bottling in November 2018, unfined and unfiltered.
Red/magenta in colour, intermingling wild raspberries, blackberries, red cherry and blueberries on the nose, with cured meats, sage and minerals. The palate is round and silky with red forest fruits, bouquet garni and a very long finish.

2017 The Enclave Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir from our oldest high density planted block, planted to 12 different clones on red ferrosol soils of volcanic origin. Natural fermentation using 100% whole berry, the wine is matured in French oak barriques for 18 months prior to bottling in November 2018, unfined and unfiltered.
On the nose, this wine is brimming with sweet red fruits, anise, sous bois and graphite. The palate is long with intense red fruits, charcuterie, blood plums and morello cherry interwoven with Chinese five spice and wonderful minerality. The chalky, mouth coating tannins are fine, and persistent. A powerful wine with great length and tension, that will benefit from ageing.
